Volunteer: Week 8 - Nature Adventure - St Edwards Park

Summer Camp Volunteers act as assistant instructors for our summer camps and receive training in our unique approach to mentoring youth in nature, which focuses on curiosity, play and asking questions as much or more than a delivery of facts. You can learn more about this approach by exploring Coyote’s Guide to Connecting with Nature, available from our web store.

At Nature Adventure Camp, kids can just be kids through exciting games, stories, songs, and challenges while simultaneously gaining foundational naturalist skills.

Campers will have an unforgettable week immersed in nature at our flagship, award-winning summer camp! Nature Adventure Camp cultivates curiosity and excitement for plants and animals while forming life-long relationships with the natural world.

Campers play in diverse ecosystems through games, exploration, challenges, stories, and songs. Our skilled instructors, trained in the art of Coyote Mentoring (our unique teaching philosophy), will strategically draw on engaging moments and activities that will leave kids inspired and in awe of our planet.

Each week of camp is unique, and many campers return year after year or attend multiple weeks in one summer!
